its always good to see dojos open their doors to other schools. once a month the judo institute in sf allows others (invited) to join class. this benefits both host(s) and tbhose visiting. as a fellow pupil, you are exposed to different body types than those in your regular daily routine.

An instructor and/or dojo owner benefits by displaying the level of skill in his dojo in addition to advertising your school. on the same note, the host’s students get a break from their daily routine.

in an open environment, all those involved benefit. likely, relationships will build with students, perhaps even online through a medium such as the very one you are reading. reach out to your fellow martial artists and the rewards will be endless.
