Uniting The Arts

This sounds like a great documentary. Presented by Slamm, just from this clip, it looks like they cover various aspects of Muay Thai – from the inevitable change of many martial arts to go from tradition to a mainstream business market.

I’m unfamiliar with the world of Muay Thai but have taken some lessons a little over a year ago. Its a great workout, excellent striking tactics and is practiced by many Mixed Martial Artists (MMA) like those in the UFC.

If you ever watched the Contender that was a reality based boxing show, you’ll know the ratings didn’t go so well. However, something I find far more interesting that Sylvester Stallone hosting a boxing show is the Asia version of the Contender. The Contender Asia is the same format of a reality show but instead of boxing, its Muay Thai. The official site doesn’t seem to host very much content on the show, so you might want to check out the fan site.
